July Wrap-Up + August Reading Intentions

I’ve realised over the last few months that my monthly goals have quietly changed.

They’ve become less about productivity and more about paying attention.

July wasn’t a huge reading month – I finished two books – but it was still full of stories.

Stories on the page, stories in Palia, stories unfolding on Centre Court at Wimbledon.

I didn’t post much here or on Instagram, and that’s okay. Instead, I found myself putting creative energy into building a new fanlistings collective, which was exactly the sort of project my brain needed.

As August begins, my reading goals are staying intentionally gentle.

I’d love to finish three books, make some progress through the ever-growing currently reading pile, and keep choosing books because they spark curiosity rather than because they’re next on a list.

Outside of reading, I want to start noticing the little moments that make up an ordinary day.

A cup of tea.
A beautiful book cover.
An evening spent in Palia.
The light coming through the window.

Maybe those are the things worth sharing.
