Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic β putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
This week’s topic is Books on My Summer 2024 To-Read List and this is a mixture of books I’m currently reading that I’m hoping to finish over the coming weeks, and books at the very top of my TBR
Firstly, books I’m determined to finish this summer:
Heather Fawcett – Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries
Emily Henry – Book Lovers
Ronald Hutton – The Stations of the Sun: A History of the Ritual Year in Britain
Sarah J. Maas – A Court of Wings and Ruin
Matthew Reilly – Scarecrow
And for the books I’m looking to start reading this summer:
Ben Aaronovitch – False Value
K.C. Davis – How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organising
Evie Meg – My Nonidentical Twin
Rick Riordan – Percy Jackson & The Last Olympian
Erin Sterling – The Kiss Curse
Will I actually get to any of these? who knows!
What’s on your summer TBR?
Emily Wildeβs Encyclopaedia of Faeries has been calling my name since it came out and yet I haven’t answered its call π And I’ve been seeing quite a few people read Percy Jackson and I would love to hop back on the PJ train, do a reread, read the new ones and watch the show! Such nostalgia of the best kind <3
I was the same with Emily Wilde – I’m just over 20% of the way through and it was so worth the wait, I’m really enjoying it. Accept the siren call *grins*
I am so glad it was worth the wait! and hahaha I really should answer the call ????????ββοΈ
I really enjoyed Emily Wilde and Book Lovers — hope you do too!
So far so good I am, thank you π
I haven’t read Emily Henry yet, but I have Book Lovers on my TBR as well. I hope you are able to pick up and finish some of these soon. Happy reading!
They’re slowly edging up my TBR so I’m feeling quite positive for them, and thank you! π
I hope you like all of them!
So far so good, the ones I’m reading are excellent, thank you! π
I’m not much of a fantasy reader but I loved A Court of Wings and Ruin! Just seeing it listed has me itching to re-read it. Hope you enjoy all of these.
I’m not a fantasy reader at all – urban fantasy yes, but otherwise no. I picked up ACOTAR last year when I was getting back into reading, to see what all the fuss was about. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did!
