My 2023 Reading Challenges

I was not going to sign up to any reading challenges this year. Well, other than the goodreads/storygraphs ‘read [x] books a year’ one. And I’ve got the Novel Companion which has a couple of challenges in it.

Then on like the 2nd, I ended up browsing the challenges on storygraph and signed up for a couple. And then Wendy at The Bashful Bookworm posted about a couple of challenges she signed up for and… now I’m signed up for a bunch of challenges.

Which leads me to making this post for some challenge accountability – and to have them all in one place!

Now, this seems like a lot. And not going to lie, having them all typed up in one place, makes me meep a little. But I also know lots of them will crossover and I’m excited to find books that cover allas many of the prompts as I can fill! Wish me luck?

Are you taking place in any reading challenges this year?

  1. I wasn’t going to do more than one or two either, but have ended up with 6 so I feel your pain. LOL! We share one of them and that’s Bloggin’ ‘Bout Books ‘Bookish Books’ challenge. I couldn’t resist that! Good luck with all of yours!

    1. I wasn’t going to do the Bookish Books one, but then I realised I had 4 or 5 books about books/writers on my TBR so I was sold

  2. That’s a lot of challenges, but it seems like many books will work for a couple of challenges at a time, so I’m sure you’ve got this! and thanks for the shout out!

    1. Oh definitely, the 3 books I’ve read so far all tick off prompts in at least 4 of the different challenges so I’m not as worried as I could be. And I’m not going to beat myself up if I don’t complete them, I’m just going to enjoy the reading 🙂
