This week’s Book Blogger Hop question is Have you ever attended a book signing? If so, who was the author?
And no, no I have not. Despite the number of science-fiction conventions events I go to, and actors I meet, get autographs from and photos with, I’ve never been to a book signing event. I have a couple of books where a friend has been and got a book signed for me and that’s pretty awesome. Always a good memory when I open up the book, especially as that friend passed away a couple of years ago.
I would like to go to a signing event. Right now, between COVID and agoraphobia, that’s not going to be happening any time soon and I’m not a huge fan of doing things on my own – although now, I’m pretty sure my betrothed would come along with me.
So, hopefully, one day, the answer will be yes
I have never been to a signing and have never had anyone bring me back a book from one. Maybe someday I will go to one though. Have a great week!
My daughter went to a convention in Indianapolis a few years ago, I think it was comic con? She met Mercedes Lackey and Brandon Sanderson there. I was so jealous.
